This is a real blender. Its power is matched by its ease of use and care. This makes frozen drinks and smoothies the way they should be, frozen and smooth! No little pieces of ice or chunks of fruit.

Slight odor during initial use of new motor breaking in. Lessened with each use, now gone.

Highly recommended.

We make smoothies a lot. Like at least 3 or 4 a week. Somehow I would think that being branded "Commercial" meant that it could take more abuse. Still happy with it however, even though a new carafe costs $50
