I work in a cafe where we use 4 vitamix containers. In order to be cost effective I try and repair things rather then just replace. I have tried replacing the blade assembly without this tool and it is a pain. I was using a screw driving for leverage and was constantly slipping and slamming my hand down. This just slides in there really easy and with a little bit of leverage unscrews/screws it right off/on. True it does have only one type of use but its use is invaluable.

Useful tool to keep near the vita-mix. I was able to tighten/repair/clean/replace all the blades on both containers, liquid and dry one.

It is good to have it if you own a VitaMix. After several years using my VitaMix I finally got the wrench to clean it in a different way. Don't need to use it every time but it is good to have it.
