But so far this baby has been able to make the smoothest smoothies I've ever had. If you follow the directions, and add the liquids first, THEN the fruits, etc., THEN the ice, it grinds the ice up with not even one tiny ice chip! I didn't even have to use the smoothie stick to stir it. Amazing! The only negatives to this product so far are: 1. Extremely loud; 2. The machine is very loud and vibrates badly and my smoothie seemed too thick to be released from the pour spout even when running. The reason I gave this a one star is because the cap above the spout literally popped off when it was sitting on the drainboard. It was the most bizzare thing because no one was around when it happened but I am sending the smoothie maker back due to the defective part. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By A Customer This review is from: VillaWare 4785-WH Smoothee Blend 'n Serve White (Kitchen) I make frozen drinks 3 or 4 times a week. After about a month, I was mixing up a frozen SlimFast when it started leaking all over. The blade assembly had chips missing from the plastic and the blender is now unusable. Total waste of money. |
