Sunbeam Blender White

Well, I got this blender as a gift almost a year ago in a month or so. I use it at least once or twice a week since I like fruit smoothies. This blender is not one of the top-notch ones, but just get to know its perks, it'll work. With this one, for sure you need to have liquid at the bottom, or it will do nothing when you turn it on. Chop your food into small pieces, the smaller the better. I find that I have to turn it off, mix it around, and turn it back on to get things blending better. Maybe that's just me since I tend to use the lower settings. I'm afraid to break it if I put it on a higher setting for too long because I can smell the motor sometimes, but it still works.
Another thing is the rubbery plastic lid. It's kind of a pain to put on and off. When it's on, it's not going to come off easily, nor the other way around. So when I blend, I just hold the lid over with my hand. This blender isn't messy either. I probably never really need to hold the lid on, but it's good...Read more
