SodaStream Genesis Red Sparkling Water & Soda Maker 4-pc.

My husband and I were avid drinkers of Perrier, San Pelligrino, etc. We heard about the home water carbonators and did our research before purchasing the SodaStream. It was the best price and had a convenient exchange program for the CO2 cartridges. It's so easy and convenient - we fill the bottles with filtered water, carbonate, and refrigerate. I truly believe a kid could do it. We bought a package deal that came with some soda and natural fruit flavors. I don't know about the soda flavors (we don't drink soda), but the all natural lemon-lime and orange flavors are great. We are saving so much money and so much hassle not having to buy and haul bottles of water home, it's amazing. Not to mention, how much it lessens our environmental impact! If you are a carbonated water addict like me, I highly recommend this product!!!

This soda maker is easy to use and convenient. We've had it for several weeks and have no complaints. Unloading the groceries from the car is so much easier now that we're not hauling cans of seltzer. The machine takes up very little counter space. The seltzer it makes has just the right amount of bubbles and tastes great plain. If I'm in the mood for a little flavor, I add some pure lime juice from a bottle that I keep handy in the door of the fridge, or I add other fruit juices. The soda keeps bubbly in the bottle but if someone leaves the cap off, no big deal, you can always top it off and put it back in the machine.

I estimate we've made at least 25 bottles of seltzer and we haven't used up a CO2 canister, so I'm not sure how long they last. Our local hardware store sells the refills, so it's convenient.

My husband and I drink a lot of seltzer, and we decided to go with this soda maker to save money and stop wasting so many plastic bottles. The machine itself is very very easy to assemble, and it fits neatly on our limited counter space.

We would have liked to order the red version we saw earlier, but it appears to be no longer available.

The bottles are a wonderful shape, with nicely labeled "fill" lines so you don't overfill and get water everywhere.

We are using a local shop to purchase refills for the gas tank and buy new soda flavors, we particularly like the root beer and gingerale.
