Smoothie Master

We purchased this from our local drug store on sale for $19.99. It's given us perfect smoothies for the last few years. But the cheap plastic is finally breaking, and the safety button has been gunked into the "don't run" position, so we're in the market for a new one.

It has a design flaw that shortened its life:
The safety switch is triggered by a tab on the flimsy plastic container. If the switch gets smoothie gunk on it (which it will), it can get frozen into the "don't run" position, and will break the tab off the container.

Other than that, this was a wonderful smoothie maker! We've put our standard load of frozen bananas, frozen blueberries, peanut butter, honey and milk into it time and again and it's returned great, thick smoothies. The pour spout is great too, and disassembles for easy cleaning.
