I had bought a competitor's set of rings (3-pack, at a lower price) and they are fragile compared to this set of 2. This set you're looking at has higher quality rubber for the rings. Definitely get THIS set and not the others.

I was unable to find this product in any of the hardware chains (our local ones have pretty much disappeared). This simple and inexpensive part of my aging but excellent blender is essential. Part works fine -- they sent extras -- and delivery was quick. Saved me quite a few dollars!

This item arrived as pictured, but when I took it out of the package I realized both rings were covered with a black oily substance. They washed off okay, but jeez, this is an item for processing food.
