Had to replace the original glass blender jar due to breakage. Was a little leery at first but my concerns were unwarranted after we tried this new plastic jar out. No problems at all. Additionally, it's substantially lighter in weight than the original glass blender jar.
Time will tell if the inside of the plastic jar will stain with usage. Will re-post a new review if any problems crop up in the future.
