"Cook's Country" Magazine rated this product the best on the market; this is what prompted my purchase. My Cuisinart immersion blender lost it's strength over time and I needed a replacement.The Kalorik motor is very powerful. It easily takes on whole frozen fruit pieces and purees them for smoothies. The blade is set at a the perfect height to maximize blending power and move the ingredients around for thorough mixing. The blender is well designed. It detaches easily from the base for efficient cleanup. I think the Kalorik hand blender is an excellent purchase for the price.

I also bought this model based on the review from America's Test Kitchen, and I've been very pleased so far! Lightweight, easy to use, and easier to clean. Takes up very little space in my tiny kitchen, compared to other models I looked at. I've made soups, smoothies, and sauces with no problem at all; the measuring cup is a GREAT inclusion. Highly recommended!

This mixer is fantastic for two reasons. It wprks beautifully, smooth and easy to use and it replaces my constant use of my blender and having to clean it each time i use it. The mixer is easy to clean and sits right on my counter. I wish i'd bought it years ago.
