I am happy overall with my purchase of the Cuisinart refurbished CB-600 Blender. It's pretty good at mixing up drinks or milk shakes. I haven't tried crushing ice with it. I am very happy with the glass pitcher that it comes with because the prior blenders I have used had platic pitchers and they very quickly become discolored with very dark ingredients and they also take on a cloudy appearance when citrus drinks were mixed in them. This unit should not have this problem.
The one draw back I have with the blender is that it does not mix very thick mixtures. It seems to make a lot of noise but nothing happens.
If you are just going to use it for very basic drink mixing it should do very well.

Great purchase and the blender works great! I paid just 19 bucks for this blender refurbished, and it looks great and works great. I couldn't be happier.
