Healthy fruit smoothies or frozen strawberry daiquiris will be the hit of the party with this Smoothie Pro blender. After the concoction of choice is blended smoothly--the special blades crush ice with no problem--guests can help themselves by placing a glass under the self-serve dispenser valve. If the smoothie has been sitting for a while and needs re-mixing, all one needs to do is push the Mix/Pour button at the same time as opening the valve, and the drink comes out in a smooth stream. More ingredients can be continually added so that the jar never runs out. The powerful 500-watt motor bumps up to 700 watts when the Pulse button is pushed; the operating noise bumps ups too at that point, but would most likely be drowned out by party revelers. A custom designed stir stick inserts through the lid opening and can be rotated in place during blending to help eliminate air pockets and break up lumps. Made of durable plastic that is best washed by hand, the tapered 7-cup jar features handy measuring marks that indicate suggested levels of liquid and frozen ingredients. Recipe cards are included.
