I've used an earlier model of this Back to Basics blender for several years and am about to buy another one to keep at my office. Perfect for ice-based smoothies and protein drinks. Makes the drink right in the cup. Remove the blender blade, put the top on, and you're ready to go. Has a larger size cup than most other drink-size blenders.

I tried using ice in both forms-crushed and cube to make a smoothie and it would not fully emulsify either. Very cheaply made plastic. DO NOT BUY.

I have used this particular product for many years. When the one I had finally broke I immediately googled to find a replacement product and was very pleased to find the same product still available. I am so excited to once again have this wonderful blender. Thank you for having it available for me to purchase.
